New
generation of healthcare carpet from Weston
Weston Carpets’ Premiere-Care range is
specifically targeted to the healthcare market and is the first fully
impervious carpet to be produced using Colortec, the very latest
generation of carpet manufacturing technology which can create larger,
bolder designs. Most other solution-dyed carpets in this market have
small geometric or tonal designs due to manufacturing limitations.

offer the larger Axminster-style designs on healthcare carpet,” said

flexibility in carpet design is thanks to the advanced technology used
in the production of this carpet in Denmark so the design
possibilities for this range are endless.”
Weston Premiere-Care is 100% polypropylene and is currently available
in two designs, Rosetta and Floral, and in three colours. A third
design, Trellis, is currently being developed and others are in the
pipeline. The carpet features a lightweight, impervious felt backing
which makes the carpet soft and comfortable underfoot and at the same
time manageable and easy to handle. The backing is guaranteed for the
life of the carpet.
Weston Premiere-Care is solution-dyed, which means the colour is fixed
all the way through the yarn. It will not fade and it cannot be
affected by bleach – the carpet is virtually stain-proof. It is a
heavy duty cut-pile contract carpet designed primarily for public
areas in the healthcare environment such as lounges, dining rooms,
receptions, day centres, corridors and eating areas.
Two other carpets in Weston’s healthcare range are Weston Solutions
and the best-selling Weston Décor-Care. Both have a five-year wear
guarantee, and anti-stain and anti-fade warranties. They are
anti-static and fully impervious up to NHS spec.
Both Weston Solutions and Weston Décor-Care are available in any width
up to 4m. Weston Carpets is the only carpet company in the healthcare
sector to offer the any-width option on most of its carpets, offering
economy for the client through reduced waste and making installation
easier.
These bleach-resistant, heavy duty carpets are available in a range of
plain colourways for interior design flexibility. Again, solution
dying means that the colour is fast throughout the pile. Both feature
a fully impervious, flame retardant latex backing with BACO FRF
accreditation.
